Stuart Evans - Founder, Actor, Writer, Director

Stuart has been involved in theatre since the age of 7 and completed his training at LIPA in 2004. Since then he has worked on productions for BBC, Channel 4, Sky and other media outlets.

He got involved in writing and directing whilst training and is also a freelance performing arts tutor working with theatre schools across the local area.

After the launch of Against the Grain, Stuart has been involved with all productions, whether it be writing, directing or acting in them. Enjoying the collaborative process of theatre, and the producing of plays with AtG, he hopes that the company will continue to grow and offer superb entertainment to audiences.
